Therefore, the Company has established the following Privacy Policy to inform you of our policy for protecting personal information and our rules for the handling of personal data.

The Company's Privacy Policy consists of two parts: Personal Information Protection Policy and Handling of Personal Data.

Personal Information Protection
Policy

The Company has constructed a management system for the protection of personal information, and has established the following policy. In accordance with this policy, our executives and employees will continually do their utmost to protect your rights and interests.

1. Appropriate Collection, Use, and

The Company will clearly define the purpose of use of personal information within the scope necessary for the execution of our business, and will collect, use, and provide personal information in an appropriate manner. Personal information collected will be used only within the scope of the purpose of use, and measures will be taken to ensure that personal information is not used for any other purpose. In the event that the handling of personal information is outsourced in whole or in part, the Company will select a party that meets a satisfactory standard of safeguarding, and will take other appropriate measures such as contractual agreements.

With regard to the personal information handled by the Company, the Company will comply with laws and regulations, national guidelines, and other norms regarding the handling of personal information. To this end, the Company has established a management system for the protection of personal information in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standard Personal Information Protection Management Systems - Requirements (JIS Q 15001), and will operate the system in an appropriate manner.

3. Prevention and Rectification of Leakage,

The Company will take reasonable security and corrective measures against risks such as unauthorized access to or loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information.

4. Responding to Complaints and Inquiries

The Company will respond without delay to requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, etc. of the relevant personal information from the principal, as well as complaints and inquiries.

Handling of Personal Data

The handled personal data under discussion in this section refers to the combination of personal information and information related to individuals under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
This section explains how and for what purposes the Company uses your personal data, and describes the procedures for receiving your requests regarding your own personal information.

If a job seeker has submitted an application for a job posted by one of the above companies through Job Check, the Company may on behalf of the principal provide the following information in writing, orally, or otherwise, to the companies that post jobs with the aim of creating employment opportunities for said principal.

  • The Company, in its capacity as the operator of Job Check, will take organizational and technical measures to safely manage all personal information received from job seekers under the “Basic Policy on Information Security” of the PERSOL Group and the Personal Information Protection Policy of the Company, and will continuously review and revise these measures (for details, please refer to 4. Security Control Measures for Personal Information below).

Please note that the Company reserves the right to outsource all or part of the operations involving the handling of personal data to an external contractor. When outsourcing, the Company will select a contractor that has a satisfactory personal data protection system in place and conclude a confidentiality agreement with such contractor.

4. Security Control Measures for Personal
Information

The Company hereby announces the measures it has taken to facilitate security controls for personal data, including personal information and information related to individuals, in its custody, as follows.

(Supervision of contractors)
In the event that the handling of personal data is outsourced in whole or in part to a third party, the Company will select an appropriate outsourcing contractor to ensure that the third party will take appropriate measures to manage personal data securely. In addition, the Company will properly manage and supervise the selected contractors by, for example, entering into an outsourcing agreement and conducting regular audits to determine the status of the handling of entrusted personal data by the contractors.

When personal data is stored in a foreign country, the Company will implement security control measures based on its understanding of the systems for the protection of personal data in the country in which the personal data is stored.
